Cut Copy (AUS)
The shining stars of the indie-dance scene are coming to play in Prague. Cut Copy is a band from Melbourne, Australia, who became known worldwide after touring with Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party and warming up the crowd at Daft Punk’s show. Recently they have released their 4th album Free Your Mind, which the musicians describe as a “fantasy of the next youth revolution”.
Even though the concert is only in a week, we are warning you in advance so that you can get your ticket ASAP.

Two Taxi Drivers Shot Dead
On Thursday night, two taxi drivers were shot dead in Uhříněves. The police have a suspicion that the 60-year-old and 26-year-old may have been murdered by a serial killer attacking taxi drivers. This incident was already a third case of taxi driver killing in or nearby Prague. There is no further information regarding the case, as the investigation is still in progress. Continue reading

Dope D.O.D. is a hip-hop band from Netherlands, who became famous back in 2011, when their first music video What Happened became a huge hit on YouTube. Their debut album Branded is said to be a new step in the evolution of hip-hop music. This week the guys are coming to Prague to heat things up at Blink Excellent club.

Gold Worth 3,5 Million Stolen
On Monday morning, a burglar broke into a jewelry shop in a mall in Olomouc and took gold worth 3,5 million CZK. The burglar did not break the shop windows and the door lock remained undamaged, which suggest a likely relationship of some sort to the shop owners.
